What we do is have fun. The Timberline Club of Denver is a TALL social club, part of Tall Club International (TCI). Many Timberline members are simply interested in getting together with other TALL friends. Our organization gives TALL people the opportunity to socialize together establishing friendships for people of all ages. Many of our members meet and marry in the club and establish life long friendships throughout the country and the world through the other clubs that are part of TCI.

Our members create the social calendar each month so the activities reflect what the members wish to do; skiing, dancing, parties, theme parties, bridge, games, movies, travel, eating out, fairs, golfing, hiking, biking, etc., and are always looking for new and exciting events. Many events are held impromptu. All members are encouraged to assist in the planning of two to three tall club functions each year. For example, if you have enjoyed a good restaurant recently, want to try a new golf course, a bike trail, maybe a new dance club. Great! Suggest it, plan a date. It will be emailed to everyone and put into our newsletter.

TCI sponsors an annual TCI Convention hosted by one of the clubs in the United States and has visiting members from the European Clubs attending. Denver last hosted the TCI Convention in 1994 in Breckenridge during July with over 350 members from the US and Europe. Members of the American clubs also attend the annual European Convention held in the spring of each year in a country in Europe.

The clubs of TCI also sponsor weekends around the country during the year and any member of the Timberline Club is invited to attend. This is a wonderful way to see the country with friends and make new friends along the way.
